We don’t have a garden as of yet but we do have a balcony. Today I popped along  to the garden centre and picked up this wonderful bucket full spring flowers.

As I have a week off this week from the day job me and the Mr decided to take a little day trip to one of our favourite places (Brighton) I just wanted to share with a few instagram photos I took.

Whilst on my weekly visit to my mums, I spotted in the corner of her living-room a vase  full of (beautiful) dyeing tulips, but before disposing them I had to take a few photos.

As you may already know (from reading one of my Sunday flowers posts) I am embarking on a new career and starting a floristry course in September with the dream of one day opening my own florist’s shop (any name suggestions would be a great help — leave a comment on this post). Having very little knowledge of  the business side of things I read some reviews on Amazon and decided to put this amazing book on my Christmas list. I have since not been able to put it down and have started making notes to refer back to later. This book is so easy to read and very practical, it’s essential reading for anyone who wants to know more about the business side of this fascinating industry!
